Sr. Rose Pacatte, FSP, is a media literacy education specialist and the founding director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies in Los Angeles. Rose is an award-winning author and film journalist for the National Catholic Reporter, St. Anthony Messenger and author of several books on film and scripture. Her most recent books are "Martin Sheen" Pilgrim on the Way" (Liturgical press, 2015) and "The Way: a Cinematic Film Guide" (Amazon, 2016.) She has also served on the SIGNIS juries at Venice, Berlin and Locarno. She is writing books on Corita Kent (Liturgical Press) and St. Hildegarde of Bingen (Pauline.) Rose's most recently hosted the TCM's series "Condemned" that looked at films condemned by the Legion of Decency between 1933-1965 and introduced two films at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood.
