Knowing Your Parishes and Diocese

Are you afraid of numbers? Are you geographically challenged? Do charts and graphs leave you in a daze? Communicating the Gospel to our Catholic people and to the broader community requires that we know the numbers, the trends and the geography of our dioceses, our parishes, our schools and our communities. Understanding community demographics helps strategize and customize the messaging. This presentation and discussion will show how numbers, graphs, and maps can tell the story of who we are, where we’ve been and where we are going. And if this educational session is successful, the attendees will go back to their dioceses and parishes and ask, “Where can I get this data that I heard about in St. Louis?”

Presenter: John Schwob, Director of Pastoral Planning, Archdiocese of St. Louis

Time: June 2 at 1:45 pm

Location: Grand Ballroom F
