CPA Book Awards
Share |

The CPA Book Awards allows publishers, authors, and book editors to present their work. The awards program helps promote outstanding Catholic material to the general public. CPA members and non-members alike may participate.

Winners are announced at the annual Catholic Media Conference and published in the June issue of the Catholic Journalist and in the winners gallery on our awards website. Award certificates are mailed from the CPA office after the conference ends.

Eligibility

Both CPA members and non-members may enter the CPA Book Awards. Publishers may submit any works published by their company. Authors may submit works of which they are the primary author or co-author. Editors may submit their own compilations or reference books.

Books submitted to the CPA Book Awards must have a copyright date of the previous year. For example, submission to the 2018 program must have a copyright date of 2017.

Fees

CPA members pay $36 per entry. Non-members pay $76 per entry.

CPA members must be in good standing by March 31 to receive the member discount. To check your membership status, call the CPA office at 312-380-6789.

Award Packets

The CPA Book Awards packet details the eligibility requirements, instructions for submission, and a full list of categories.
