Holy Cross Family Ministries commissioned research by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), the premier U.S. Catholic social science research center, last fall regarding how Catholic families are living, working and praying today. The results may not fit the stereotypes out there. For instance, most parents of young Catholics are married and 18% of them live below the poverty line.
