The Catholic Media Convention is conducted by the Catholic Press Association and the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals
 
 
The Catholic Press Association (CPA) of the United States and Canada
includes members in the print and publishing media, from newspapers, magazines, newsletters and general publishers. The CPA's mission is to build and strengthen the value and worth of the Catholic press by facilitating the professional, economic and spiritual growth of its members. Membership is open to those serving in the Catholic print media (newspapers, magazines, newsletters) and in publishing, in printed or electronic form; freelancers are also invited for membership. The Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals (CA)
the U.S. affiliate of SIGNIS, brings together media professionals to nurture the Christian and professional development of its members; to advance the communications mission of the Church, and to support and recognize excellence in media, especially through the Gabriel Awards. CA is an association for those who use the communications technology (computer, electronic, print, radio, television, video, film, etc.) to communicate to the various audiences within and outside of the Catholic Church. Membership is open to all those involved in the fields of public relations, advertising, news analysis, reporting, computer communications, radio, television and film.
